Scott MacPherson

Scott was Rob Lowes double in the hockey movie Youngblood. Scott was a four year player at UMass Lowell, and a multiple participant for Team USA. Scott signed a contract with the Los Angeles Kings out of college. Scott is the former coach at UMass Amherst, Merrimack College and UMass Lowell. His pro coaching experience includes stints with Cincinnati of the IHL, and the Augusta Lynx of the ECHL. He was a pro scout with Washington and Tampa Bay of the NHL.
Glenn Carey

Glenn grew up in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia where he played up through the Bridgewater Minor Hockey Association, and eventually for the South Shore Mustangs AAA Midget Program in '86-87 and '87-88. Glenn played Senior Hockey for the Yarmouth Oland's Exports in the Maritime Senior A Hockey League in '89-90 through '94-95. Glenn began coaching Hockey at age 18 for the Bridgewater Minor Hockey Association, and has worked with the Great Northern Snow Devils (now Manchester Monarchs of the EJHL), and as an instructor in the Northern Collegiate Developmental Program under Monarch's Head Coach and GM, Sean Tremblay. Glenn coached Saco Middle School to the Maine State Middle School Championship in '98. From '98-00 Glenn was an assistant coach at Thornton Academy in Saco, ME. Glenn also owned and ran a successful hockey pro shop company, Scotia Hockey Shops in Biddeford, ME, Portland, ME and Falmouth ME, from '98-06. To this day there is no finer skate sharpener alive!! Glenn took over the head coaching duties of the Maine Moose, of the IJHL in October '07, and the GM role in '08, and lead the Moose to 2 league finals in 3 years. In '09, Glenn took over the NJ Kings, leading them to the league finals against the Cape Cod Cubs. Well, you know how the saying goes, If you can't beat them, join them!
Dan Hodge
Position: General Manager/Head Coach

Dan is a veteran of over 650 professional games; he was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in 1990. Dan has played games in the AHL, IHL, ECHL and CHL. Dan was a member of the 2000 Kelly Cup Championship team in Peoria of the ECHL. Dan's father, Ken was a two time Stanley Cup champion as a member of the Boston Bruins (1970 and 1972). His Brother, Ken Jr., also played for the Boston Bruins, and won the 7th Player Award on his way to being named to the NHL's All-Rookie team in 1991. Brendon, Dan's younger brother, also plays pro hockey for the Rapid City Rush of the Central Hockey League. Dan's playing career ended in 2006 when he took over as the assistant coach for the Tulsa Oilers in the CHL. He became Head Coach in December of 2008. He is a product of hockey tradition and is excited for the task ahead of coaching the Cubs. Dan makes his home in Hyannis.

Anna earned a degree in International Management from the Russian State University. In the past, Anna was a pro figure skater; she competed in the World, European, and Grand Prix Championships. Anna comes from a hockey family, her father Alexander Galchenyuk played professional hockey for 23 years in the USA, Russia, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Belarus. Anna's brother Alex (age 16) also plays hockey, Alex finished this season with the most points in his league and is the leading candidate for the top draft pick in the OHL. Anna has worked as a coordinator for Russian hockey teams to play in the United States and Canada. Anna brings with her a stellar background in hockey, and will be a great liaison between the Cape Cod Cubs and international hockey talent.
